I am going through my steering and suspension systems today, trying to sort it out.

Lots of clunking noises I don't approve of.
The motor mounts and tranny mounts are being replaced, as are the sway bars.

I believe I need to replace the tie rod ends. Agreed?

Also the shock in the horizontal position is unfamiliar, besides in some upgrade kits for suspension.
If that's the case, how do I tell about the track bar replacement I'll need?

There are a couple other pictures that show items I am unsure about and could use clarification.

Much appreciated.

The last pictures shown are of the sway bar mounts? I wouldn't worry too much about that unless you can grab the sway bar and rock the mounts.

What about the sway bar end links? I'd replace those first if anything (cheap too).

And for .02 cents, I'd see if i couldn't clean up some of that gunk around the tie rod ends and track bar. If they're leaking grease, it's probably time to replace. Could always throw the vehicle off the ground and shake the wheel/tire back and forth, then up and down and look for play in the front end suspension parts. That's your best bet.

The horizontal shock is steering stabilizer shock. I'd replace that as well, pretty cheap and improves handling.

Anything more specific you can tell us about the noises? When turning? Taking off? Braking hard/ soft?

How have you determined the parts need replacing? We can't tell by looking at pictures, other than sway bar bushings, which don't look to bad ( on this tablet)

Default Ok, new pics (cleaner)

First two are on the driver, the other two passenger.
Tie rods and track bar.
I was thinking because of the amount of grease that they were leaking and may need to be replaced.
Also because of the wobbles.

The clunking comes at any immediate incline/decline from the passenger side, along with anything deeper than a pinky.

I'll grease the tie rods up before I replace them though.
I'll check the shock there and make sure it can do the job and isn't screwy.
The motor mounts are shot because the engine torques badly when you throttle it hard.
Had someone check that with me today just to verify.

Have someone turn the steering wheel from side to side a bit while you observe the suspected components. The grease out the boots means nothing other than someonc coulda been overzealous with a grease gun..

Tighten the track bar bracket to driver's side frme rail bolts even if they seem tight enough.

Ok, so for the next question to pop up, if that rubber grease reservoir leaks or has a cut in it (big enough to bleed through), can I fix it without replacing anything.

Replaced the shocks today.
No BPEs.
Went without a problem.
If I wasn't soaking the nuts and bolts in vinegar to remove minor surface rust, 5-10 minutes ea for rear, 10-30 front (depending on how obstructed the driver's side shock mount is).

With these. http://www.independent4x.com/Polyure...oots_p_32.html

They don't make a tight seal on the bottom like original dust boots will but they are better than a huge cut.
