I just bought a regeared TJ front axle to save money on regearing and im just about done stripping all the stuff off that im not using, but the trackbar is being a bit stubborn. The TJ ones have an allen head (why they didn't just use a regular bolt is beyond me) which im afraid of stripping out since its rusted on so good, but is the TJ trackbar a direct fit for an XJ, because then I wouldent have to worry about getting it off, if not I guess i'll just have to cut it.

 

Weld a nut to the allen head, then use a wrench to remove it.

 

You know thats a pretty good idea, I think im going to do that.
