I have a 99 cherokee with a 4" lift and I want to buy new tires and wheels for it. I have 31x10.50x15 on it now, but I was wanting a little wider tire and bigger wheels. Im looking at some 31x12.50 but im not sure what size wheel I should get? I have also seen jeeps that run around and there tires stick out farther than the body which I like, but Im not sure what type of wheel to get to acheive that.

 

The tires sticking out may be due to a wider tire or off-set rims that allow the tire to sit out. Mine are 12.5in wide with slightly off set rims that make them stick out like your talking about.

 

X2. an off set rim will push it out more. I have 15x8 inch rims with I belive 4'' BS and only 9.5 wide tire. But with a wider tire(need more cash) it will be out there more
