Well I'm thinking about making some half doors for my Jeep, Just wondering, can doors off a pre 97 be put on my 01 or will there be fitment issues? Also grabbing a new set of front fenders since im going to mkae some tube flares and would rather make them off the vehicle, can I get pre-97 front fenders to fit with my 01 front clip and body? I just like the look of the more squared off fenders and don't want to limit myself if I find older ones in good shape.

Im not to sure but I would just look into getting 97+ doors. I know they changed them but Im not sure how much.

 

I am making a set of doors for an 89 2-door cherokee and I noticed they looked close so I checked and sure enough they are identical in every measurement to my 98 2-door. The outside of the door is exactly the same. The only difference is the inside of the door looks different but that doesnt matter. Im not possitive but im guessing 4 doors are also univeral.

 

I know you can do thr fenders. My buddy has like 98 fenders on his 95. They are just a little more round.
