Default need some advice...newb here... be gentle...

ok everyone, i just got a '98 xj sport, came with 3.5" procomp lift with 31's. The rear leafs are flat... i am wanting to get a total of 5 or 5.5" of lift.

now i have read about the bastard pack and know there are diff leafs you can use, which ones would be best to achieve what i am wanting?

i know i'm gonna have to do a list of stuff to make things right when lifting it 2 more inches, but who all has done this and what have you guys got away with not doing etc...

thanks for your time!

I beleive people use a dakota leafs but thats only good for 3inches. you could add a 2"bb but thats not adding flex. just my 2 cents

There's quit a few threads here, about lifts. And the problems that come with various lift heights. If you want bigger tires? I would trim the fenders first, My self. And you can get a lot flex, with out more lift. Do a search here, under COG (center of gravity) There is a lot extremely knowledgeable folks here. "Experts" on height, vs flex, vs COG. Take some time, and keep reading. You might find that you'll change your mind on additional lift. JMO!

well i really am not interested in too much flex, this is my DD so i dont want to tear it up tryign to get max flex, i want more lift for the look. i dont plan on going over a 32" tire to keep the gas mileage down and cost of rubber.

but i'll keep lookin around man. thanks
