My buddy has 265/70R15's on his colorado and they look taller than my 235/75R15's. Now I run a budget boost of about 2-2.5 inches and was wondering what are the actualy dimension differences in the tires. See I am torn, I need new tires, 80 percent is on road, 20 percent is on forest roads so AT is more ideal than MT tires. It is my daily driver so I need to be performance pratical. What i mean is if a larger tire will make me drop a MPG or 2 I might want to just get a more solid/better 235/75R15 over this larger tire.
Also is it me or have tire prices jumped drastically?
My ride detailed:
1995 Jeep XJ
2'' Coil Spacers Front
New (+/-6 months old) Heavy Duty Front Shocks from Quadratec
New (=/- 6months old) Heavy Dutry Leafs and Shocks for the rear from Quadratec
Iron Rock Off Raod Rear Shackle lift
Just turned 77,000 original miles....
