Default Tire slowly leaking air

It leaks about 10 lbs of pressure in throughout the day. I found a spot on the front of thr rim on the bead where it is leaking. I aired it up and poured some water on it and it was only leaking from that one spot. The rim looks fine. Can fix-a-flat do this job or do I need to redo the whole bead.

i would take it to a shop and get them to pop the tire off and grind the bead on the rim to get the old crud and rubber off, then re-inflate. it shouldn't cost too much.

or you can try to do this yourself. use a hi-lift to pop the bead and clean the rim up yourself. you can try a grinder or file. maybe even 40 or 50 grit sandpaper. then just re-inflate.
it's easier to remove the tire tho, it can be done with a tire spoon and a really long prybar. can be done on or off the jeep, depending on the space.

that'll stop the leak, i wouldn't use any quick fix, those are for the trail.

is the rim bent at all or is there some thing in the bead seat. i would take it to a shop and have them take off the tire and see what is going on

Take it to the shop and have them break the bead and clean the junk on the lip. My 33's have done this and mud and dirt get jammed in hte bead and rim and wont seal. Has happend to my quad tires too

slime and fix a flat sucks, don't waste your time and money.

and in my shop, when that junk is in your tire when we have to fix it, we charge more to remove it. they suck and don't work, and cause corrosion and crap if left in there. they were never meant for a permanent fix anyway.

make sure its aired up and get it fixed.

Definitely take it to a shop, fix-a-flat sucks and isn't good for the tire, it is meant as a short term fix not meant to be driven on for long periods and can cause the tire to feel out of balance. Take it to a shop and have it fixed right, most of your big box shops like hibdons ad discount tire will fix it for free anyways.
