Default Tire rub

Quick question, Guy I bought the jeep from put on some 265/75/15 and they rub when the wheel is turned tight. It drives me nutz, anyways will 235/75/15 fit with out rubbing. I think stock size is 225/75/15. All I want is a nice daily driver.

Oh yeah I'm in MN, so if somebody wants to Trade all for that. I would say tires are 80% left.

If you come by Chicago I'll trade you a set of 4 225/75 15s that I just took off when I upped to 31s (after installing lift). There are two that have about 300 (99%) miles on them and the other two are about 75% left, but the two pairs are not the same tire. Hard to tell as they are similar and mounted blackwall out. :-)

With no lift, the biggest tire that supposedly won't rub is the 235/75/15.

My friend has 30x9.5 tires on his 99 sport and they rub at full lock turn, and they're not much bigger.

They don't do it enough to annoy him. I have aftermarket wheels on my jeep and the offset is different. I could probably run the 30x9.5 and not have them rub since they kick the tires out ever so slightly.

If you don't mind a little loss in turning radius you can put a washer behind the stops.
