tire clearance?
okay, so i have a set of 31s. obviously i cant flex for crap stock. if i trim the fenders to the limits of the wheel wells will the fit with decent trail flex? or should i just wait for the 3" lift on the 01mar? we went out on a trail today and it didnt do to bad, but the street tires SUCK! were going back out tomorrow, and im itching for some *****...
awsome! i was hoping ud say that. i know 30s will rub a little w/o trimming, so i asked. how bad will they rub if i trim them up to the wheel well? keep in mind the first flex will probably break the weld on the sway bar, so it will be flexing to the best of its ability...
its all a matter of trial and error, remember the more you bumpstop the more it will limit your uptravel causing you to need to trim less.
you will only need minor trimming with the proper amount of bumpstopping.

Be patient grasshopper, good things come to those who wait. I almost trimmed first, like your wanting to do. Now I'm glad I didn't because when I put my lift on It give me 3.5 in the front and now my 31's look (too me) too small If I would have trimmed already then they would have looked way small. If your staying with 31's and a budget boost then by all means trim........

i agree. with 33's stick to about 4.5" 5-6 with 35's. also if you are getting a 3 inch lift soon, wait till then to trim and bumpstop
and i am holding off on the trimming, im just riding in an xj on 36 iroks tomorrow. i go back to work wednesday, ill get a pic of the B-btry BC's xj that makes my wet dreams look like a comedy series...

just remember, if you wanna dream big thats fine, but the higher you go the higher the cost will be, and it rises exponentially. just my words of wisdom which i had to learn the hard way haha
