Default Tire Clearance

Looking at getting an '01 cherokee with a 3" lift on it. i want to increase the lift for bigger tire clearance, since now it only fits 31", what would be the best way to fit 33"s and still have room for flex ? thanks

Trim the fenders. Fronts are easy. I have no lift and could flex 31"s and have room left. Back is not so easy and dont gain alot. Do a search for "Cut Fenders"

How much flex are we talking about? I've seen XJ's on 32/33s that tuck with some trimming.

My XJ with trimmed fenders front/back, 35"s and no lift! ... Lol, i dont take it to the woods, but do drive it around by my place. Only time it rubs is if i cut the wheels deep, inwhich im gonna do a bit more trimming on the front fenders so when i do get the lift under it i aint gotta worry about messin my fenders up when it comes to flexage...

I knew I could fit at least 33's with my cut but I guess it's alot more I need to do something with the back but I don't want to lose the flares. I am puzzled on it so far.

Really? It looks like the rear would rub by simply hitting a bump on the highway. Looks real close

The reason it looks close is because of where its sitting. My yard is no where near flat. I hadnt taken down no rough **** road no 100 mph yet so its not rubbed in the back. I just ease around in it every now and then.. After christmas it'll have the lift and plenty of clearence.
