Default Tinting over tint...

I have to replace the rear door "small" glass piece but the local yards only have the tinted versions. I do plan on tinting the whole rig. If I install tinted glass for that little window, will it be obvious after I tint 5% for all the rear glass?

Well I hope I never find out. I went to the Denver Pull and Pay yard and got one for $26. I quickly saw that the glass was tinted after the fact so it'll be easy to strip the tint.

Grabbed what looks like and almost new alternator from a '00 and also cruise control switches from both a '98 and '00 along with a different airbag cover. Also grabbed the cruise actuator from that '98 as I read that the 97-98 cruise components are different than the 99 onwards?

If I remember correctly, the difference is in the switch on the steering wheel. 97 and 98 are the same but 99 is different.

The cruise buttons have different resistance values. More specifics found https://www.naxja.org/forum/showthread.php?t=1038194

The only 97-98 they had on the lot had switches but the mounting tabs were snapped. I also grabbed excellent condition set of switchws from a '00 that I want to see if I can't move the switches over to. $10/ea at the pull and pay.
