Question Timing Chain Tensioner Question

I have a 95 Cherokee SE 2.5L Manual

Can you replace the Timing chain tensioner by taking off the C-Clamp on the Tensioner and then sliding it off, Or do you have to drop the Oil Pan first? Just trying to find an easier way of doing it.

Here are 2 of pics

Yes you can. Ive done it on my friends '91 2.5 wrangler with no issues. A LOT easier than dropping the pan

Default Thanks

Thanks Man, That is just what I wanted to hear. Dodge wanted to charge me $960.00 bucks to do it and that was only labor. I only paid 2200 for it in the first place.
