For OE equivalent ATK and Doorman (they appear to be identical parts sold under different brands) are available at pretty much any major auto-parts stores (and on RockAuto) and are decent quality and price, both also have the "flex"/expansion joints to reduce the risk of cracking.
If you are looking for a "performance" header ATP is cheap and decent quality but you may have to do some grinding to get it to fit right. Banks, Borla , Gibson, etc. are all excellent but expensive options.

What do you guys think of Kolak headers? I am definitely looking for a lifetime header with good performance. Getting ready to rebuild an engine and going with 2.5" exhaust all the way through. Going to use magnaflow high flow converter and a flowmaster muffler, not sure what series yet.
If you're also interested in headers, I carry the Mike Leach designed Doug Thorley header for the XJ I6. This is a tri-Y (3 collector) design, and it really makes a big power difference with a very broad power band and excellent power and torque gains across the rpm range. This header has a lifetime warranty, and uses 14 gauge tubing with 1/2" laser cut flanges -- the heaviest in the industry. The header is ceramic coated inside and out, a particular benefit for the I6 engine. The coating radically reduces radiated heat into the engine compartment, and given the close proximity of the I6 intake manifold, much cooler intake air will result. That means more power and excellent detonation resistance. The ceramic coating also eliminates worries about header cracking. There's a lifetime warranty on the coating as well. Price is $499.00.

I do believe that I have found my next new header and the price is very much in line with any quality header. My last set of race headers for my wagon was $2800, can't believe that I used to pay under $500 for a set of Hookers Super Comps years back.

Yeah, he does do that. And he is promoting his company on this Forum. Isn't that against the Terms Of Service?
