do i have to replace the whole steering set up or can i just swap in the zj tie rod to my existing steering set up? the write ups ive found are for the whole set up

dont know. when i did it i swapped the whole set up. honestly dont know if i have seen someone use just the tie rod. its all been the tie rod and drag link swap.

will my steering stabilizer still work for it and my adjustable tracbar that i have as well?

dont touch the track bar. install the steering and either have it aligned or align it yourself. the stabilizer i have no clue about. have not needed on in 5 or so years. i dont see why it wouldnt though.

lucky... the only V8 ZJ the local JY has had front end collision damage... steering is pretty much screwed.

Hey cob, let me know how it goes and what you end up with, I have been wanting to do this same mod for a while on my 95 XJ and my 91 MJ but was holding off til I found some one I knew that has done it and could tell me just what years ZJ would fit my years. Offroad, if you could give me an idea what you think what years ZJ might fit my rigs, I would much appreciate your input.

this ups guy is really pissing me off. My buddy was at the jy trying to pull it off than he gave up. I was so excited, guess i got to do the dirty work now huh. Thanks for the help guys at least I know what im looking for now though
