Default Tie Rod Movement

How much wiggle should the tie rod and drag link bar have if you pull on them with the jeep sitting on it's wheels? Not jacked up or anything. I am having front to back movement, is this normal or a sign of wear?

it's normal for them to twist/rotate around the ball under the rubber boot, but no up/down or side to side play.

have someone shake the steering wheel back and forth while you're under the front looking for any said play.

So if I lay under the front end, I can move both those bars front to back. I can't move them up and down, or left to right. Is that front to back movement normal? It moves about 1/2" or so.
