Default tie rod end replacement

Hey guys I wanted to check first before I start getting these parts dirty. I'm replacing tie rod ends and the new parts come with the grease zerts uninstalled, one of the TRE has threads where its zert screws in, the other has only a hole, with no threads. they are different brands the cheaper one having the threads. Do I just start threading the zerts into their hole or is one faulty and needing replacment? thanks!
