tie rod end to pitman arm problem

Engine: 4.0L high output with compressed valves

tie rod end to pitman arm problem

So the where the tie rod end bolts on to the pitman arm bolt, the castle nut spins with the bolt its suppose to screw on to.....how do i get it to tighten rather than have the whole ball spin?

Same issue here. I pushed on the joint against the pitman arm, that gave it some tension so it wouldn't spin. That make sense??

yeah but it didnt do anything for me!!!!

Shoot, that sucks. Are the threads good? Have you tried lubrication? I forgot to mention that first I put vice grips, then when there was no more room, removed them and just pushed on it. You might just have to replace that joint...
