i was wondering if someone could help me out. if i take off nice and smooth everything if fine but when i gas it the jeep making like a thumping noise. then when i am driving and i let off the gas and gas it again like just playing around it thumps or pops. could this be the u-joints or something loose in the suspension?? any help would be appreciated. thanks

 

What area is noise coming from, need more info on vehicle - like wheel area or transmission. Is vehicle stander or auto year of jeep

 

the noise is coming from the underside of the jeep. sounds like it might be coming from more towards the front. jeep is a 1992 cherokee with 4 1/2 inch skyjacker lift and running 31" tires. jeep has a standard 5 speed.
