Default Throwing numerous codes

Good afternoon. Ill keep it short.

I just bought a 2001 jeep Cherokee XJ from a guy on Facebook (Very good condition!) He put a new engine in it. Everything looks stock including things he has replaced. My problem is the jeep has multiple misfires and some o2 sensor codes. 02 sensors look new but could be bad.

Codes: p0132, p0300, p0304, p0138, p0306 ,p0141, p0305

Symptoms
  • Rough idle after driving for a while
  • On highway will stutter and jerk when pressing accelerator which i think is when misfires are happening ?
  • Smell burning gas when getting out car lately.
  • Delay in power.
  • Loss of power around 70 miles per hour

To fix the problem i tried
  • I have done tune up. Replaced all sensors around throttle body. New spark plugs and cables. Oil change.

The only thing i can see that is aftermarket is a mod that is orange RIPP brand coil pack kit. (https://rippmods.com/products/jeep-w...ck-upgrade-kit) On site looks like its only available for grand cherokee and not Cherokee not sure if it matters ?

It doesn't have the ignition coil pack rail like it comes from factory. That's what im thinking the issue is and i just need to replace the coil pack.

Im aware i haven't tried things like cleaning grounds and other stuff but i figured since i was getting misfires and actual codes i should target the area its failing.

Please help i spend a lot of money on it and need it for work and i have taken it to two mechanics and they say they dont have resources to help even though one of the shops was at a jeep dealership

Thank you !

I haven't checked the codes but if you have O2 codes, that's a good start.
No experience with the coil packs but it might be an idea to ask the PO why it was put in AND if he had the running issue as well.

Clean those grounds to take that out of the equation.

Other things that could cause your issue including CPS and CAM sensors failing.
Did you check/replace the TPS as well?

Just a first few things that come to mind.

bro, you need to copy from Google and paste what each of those codes are thanks

i recognise some misfire codes

try check/disconnect front O2 sensor if it runs a bit better, dont throw away old parts

I had similar problems on my 99, after I bought it i did not think I was going to make the hour drive home , I did a thorough tune up with no improvement, it turned out to be the O2 sensor.
