Is this stuff worth the money? Next time I'm in the shop I'm gonna pull my throttle body and clean it. I've never had a fuel injection engine before, so I don't really know what to use to get it clean without dissassembling the whole top end. I used to use this stuff for my carburator that you poured in half till you choked the engine then poured in the rest. Started it and you could see in the exhaust all the stuff you burned out of the engine. Is there anything that you guys swear buy that will get my top end clean without a dissassemble and a trip to the parts cleaner???

 

Hey...I am new to this forum. I just purchased for my daugher a 97 Cherokee Sport with a 4.0. It does need some repair. So this will be a great place to get help and guidance.

I am Do-it-yourself mechanic. Cars, Truck, and Motorcycle. I use Seafoam in all them. One can in a full thank( or a noted on can for small gas tanks) .....about once a month. Pour and Drive ! Yes, cleaning the throttle body, it a manual operation. I would consult the Repair Manual.
