So I followed the simple instructions I saw on the YouTube video cruiser posted in another thread, for this adjustment. Wanted to see if it would change anything. So when I 'zeroed' it I guess you could say, this is what it looked like
Then after the adjustment, it was this
Think it's supposed to adjust more? Gonna take it for a drive and see if it changes anything.
That's what I was thinking. I did exactly as that video shows though, so I may have defective crap. Wouldn't surprise me. I've had nothing but hell with this thing
Like how far did I push that sleeve back in to the housing? If that's what you mean, then the first pic is that. The second one is when I pulled the throttle all the way down and it clicked a little click. Hard to tell the difference in the 2 pictures. But yes, it's bout that distance you say.
Yup. Took for a drive and no change. I'm at a loss for ideas. I know I see yall talking bout checking the read out on the pins, but I have no earthly clue how all that works
Then it seems to be right then. What to move on to next is the question. Btw, I just realized my phone changed my spelling on the title. Decent vs detent
good as in good, or good pic? I'm almost hoping its not good. I'm really not wanting to drop the pan on the trans, but if i got to, then hell, i wanna fix this damn problem. still aint got a stethoscope but i figure i could find that squeaking noise. for some reason, can pin point it. it mainly squeaks at start up. really loud for a second.
Did you push the throttle pedal to the floor to get the cable to ratchet into position? It takes a bit of effort to get it to ratchet out. You might have thought you had the pedal at WOT but it wasn't far enough down.
