Throttle hesitation/"chuffing"
When I hit the throttle at idle, the engine makes a "chuff" sound then revs up. The idle is good otherwise, the motor never stalls or gives any other trouble. It does not do it when you ease the throttle up, just when you hit the gas fast. Any thoughts?

It was in storage a while and I was working on it for the last few months. So the battery has been on and off. Do you think it will subside as the computer builds data?

how much have you driven it since? did you treat the gas so it wouldnt go bad with fuel stabilizer? did you check your fluid levels? I think all of theese are factors and your computer will adjust to the way you drive no matter hard or mellow, but I wouldnt be too hard on the jeep at first since it has been in storage. also good to everyonce in a while floor it from a stop sign or something to blast out the injectors

yeah keep us updated, i would change oil, coolant, gas (injector boost because of ethanol and cut it was sitting there) and dont disconnect the battery for a while, it wouldnt take long, maybe 1 hour for it to adjust almost fully to driving trends
