Default throttle help please

I have a 96 cherokee with a 4.0, I6. I have been having problems with it hesitating or dying when I give it gas. It seems to only happen when you just touch the gas, but if you give it lots of gas it is fine. It has no problems past just touching the gas as far as accelleration or hesitation. Today I checked and replaced the cap, rotor, plugs and wires. Still happening. I am thinking maybe throttle position sensor? Anyone had the same problem or able to help diagnose? Thanks
