ok, i would guess the reason you are asking is there is too much play in the linkage ya?
I went to a junk yard and got a cable assy for $25.00
as it has this plastic thingy on it which snaps into the throttle plate bracket area, mine was cracked, i could not see this when just loking around, but after close inspection with a strong light and magnifyin glass i saw it had fractured...hence causing sloppy throttle......
i have same year as yours, not sure that there is an adjust ment to be honest...I am positive there is a way, but I just swapped the whole thing out. it was easier........K.I.S.S. principle works for me all the time
anyway, my 2 cent worth, good luck!

On my jeep, I put in a floor mat and couldnt put the throttle down very much. I pulled the pedal up and put a spacer on the cable to adjust it up a bit. Now I can actually open her up.
