Default Throttle Body/Horsepower Questions

I have a 93' XJ with a 2.5 liter 4 Cyl. engine, and I wanted to beef it up a little bit. I would like to know what I could do to get more power. I was thinking of getting a throttle body spacer, and a new air intake system so it can breath more. What company should I purchase the spacer from? Is there anything I should know before I go through with it? Someone I know also mentioned how they put a 4.0L throttle body on the 2.5L and got more power, would that work? Any advice about horsepower gains would be helpful. Thanks.

throttle body spacer not really your mpi for fuel you might get .5 horsepower (a quater horspower) thats it. fresh air tube make your own unless you got 200.00 to 300.00 bucks laying around.horsepower gains on air tube 1 to5 ,1 being your most likely. To beef it up ,to make alot of horses you need to go inside of it ,to really gain power. good luck
