Cool Throttle Body ??

Newbie here... I just picked up a 93XJ Sport w/ 80K miles. This is a ski/forest service road jeep. I'm just finishing up a 2" lift/shock and 30" AT tire project. Looking forward to my next project, air flow, I'm going to install a Cold Air Intake, 62mm Throttle body and cat back exhaust upgrade...

My question is do I have a Remix throttle body or no????

Also I want a little louder/ deeper sound than stock but no too much... Any suggestions.

Thanks - b93

Remix? you mean renix and no you dont,1991 was the start of h.o motors. For your sound the best thing to do is buy a cat-back exhaust and it will mellow out in sound, putting a cherry bomb or super 40 makes the str-6 sound like a rice burner.

Thanks 413 - Yes Renix (m is right next to the n on my keyboard.... I have fat fingers

I thiught Cat Back refered to Catalitic Converter back and any brand of muffler would work. A am looking to lower flow resistance to match the CAI/62mm Throttle body. (I said I was a newbie) I will avoid the cherry bomb/Super 40 and look for a muffler with low resistance and nice sound.

Thanks for your help - br

I have w cherry bomb muffler on mine and it has a deeper tone than stock. Sounds pretty good. I'm going with something a little deeper here soon tho. But this one I have now is awesome if you just want a little delete tone

I like the sound of a Borla. You can Youtube vids to get an idea. For example, check out this one
to get an idea.

for interior sound. (Best to listen to them with a set of headphones and not your computer speakers.)
