Just curious what you are doing with tuning, like if I threw on a ported head and raised compression a bit and with good rocker arms and a camshaft could I get away with just switching injectors and adjusting map voltage, or is some type of ems needed, same thing goes for the stroker motors. Just curious if you had to go with something like a mega-squirt or some type of piggy-back system, and if a piggy-back system, does anyone make one for non-obd II vehicles like a 93 h.o. ?
Also this question applies to just changing camshaft alone or cylinder head with beefed up valve train (bigger valves and better rocker arms)

saw something on "trucks' on spike. they did a 4.0 stroker with ported head and so on. they used an adjustable MAP sensor. you can get them at alot of places. saw it in quadratech magazine for reasonable price.

I am going to make my own adjustable map sensor, so if that is all that is needed that is pretty dope, but from what I understand an adjustable map sensor only works from 80-100% full throttle and below that computer just uses 02 sensor to keep it as close to 14.7 o2 to 1 part fuel. So It would be pretty easy for me if all it takes is an adjustable map sensor to make one, but that is only for almost and full throttle, would the computer keep things in check with different cam profile and what not at normal driving? And do you know if the had a aftermarket cam on engine on that show, or was it a stock cam in a stroker motor, as an aftermarket cam profile worries me a bit, but I am completely unfamiliar with map, the most I have done with it is build and sell mega-squirts, but if all that is needed is a adjustable map sensor well that is pretty easy.
