Third eye out.
Maybe this has been asked before...
Took the jeep to get inspected and was told the third eye was out, which I knew. Well my guy put a sticker on it and sent me on my way. However I did set up an appointment to get the issue solved. Now I don't expect him to charge me the entire $80/hour labor fee, but he will be ripping stuff out and running tests along the circuit. Said it would take about an hour.
I've already pulled the fuses, and replaced the bulb. Is this a common issue? If so where is the problem usually located? I read check the area atop the lift gate, where all the circuitry ties into the hatch. Unless generally this is a dead giveaway fix.

Are your Jeep's chakras misaligned? Is it producing a miscoloured aura? Do you live in Colorado or Washington and have taken advantage of the new legalization of cannabis?
I have to take a stab here and say you are claiming the middle rear tail light is out? It took me too long to understand that, just saying, easier communication allows for easier answers.

Third brake light. I've always referred to it as "the third eye". I guess it's not as common a term I once thought.

Hmm.. Pop cover and see if it all looks clean inside. Trace re wires some more and see if you can find a broken/frayed one. The switch is probably good.. Idk man, that's an awful lot to pay a mechanic to root around looking for something (probably) simple. A lot of it can be done yourself if you've got the time.. Possibly the light socket is bad?

I do inspection stickers in New Hampshire. Every light on the vehicle must be functioning including aftermarket added lights such as fog lights unless they are covered.
