It'll last you another 200,000 km if it was taken well care of. Looks solid and for 500 that's great. My advice is to go and buy it, it will be the best 500 bucks you have ever spent. And if anything does break on it, you can get the parts at a junkyard or cheap on the internet. I'm 16 with absolutely no mechanical skill whatsoever but I am positive even I could fix something minor on my Cherokee by myself.

Well, I've made the decision to pick her up! Still have few more things to sort out before I'll have it on the road. Just finished repairing the passenger side door yesterday as it was falling of the hinges, still need to replace the windshield, rebuild the steering column (slightly loose), and give the body a bit of love. Should be up and ready in about a month! I'll try to post a few more pics later..
