Default Pressure Resivor Problems

I have a 1990 with the pressurized cooling system. Can this pressure system be changed over to a regular cooling system or what can be done to stop the resivor from cracking and spraying coolant all over the engine?

Thanks for the reply..... but it looks not to be simple. Looks like something has to be changed or taken out to fit a new radiator?

its simple the top bracket on the radiator is held on by long thin bolts just exchange the old ones to the new radiator the radiator is harder to pluul than doing that then mount resivor bottle to area where pressure bottle went simple as **** you want pics

hey, I have the same problem guys. Have an 89 and it is driving me crazy! checking coolant everyday and "burping" it. Ready to just be done with it. If you could send me the pics also, i'd really appreciate it. There's a overflow bottle i found though that is alum and supposed to work. any ideas?

the to pic is the new over folw bottle mounted in place of the pressure bottle remove bottle thake the two hoses from the old bottle and join the together remove the brackets were bottle sat the new bottle has a metal bracket it sits in bend the eyelets back so the mount on the angle part of the fire wall put it low enough so hood dont hit lid when closed the botton nipple gets connected to the nippl by rad cap the top hose just route down and cut so if water gets hot it runs down to the ground between frame and motor

this is what the old rad looks like with the brackets removed that the ac fah and clutch fan mount in and mounts the radiator to top section that hood lathch is mounted on therers like 8 or 10 bolts that hold the frame on and one for the bat hold down not that the top and bottom black pcs are not on it anyt more you remove the 4 thin rods and small bolts to remove tnem mount the old rad brackets to the new rad the ne rad is just a little bigger the old rad brackets are a little smaller thats why you have to change them over
