Default thermostat housing

Will one of the newer thermostat housings with the sensor in it fit on a renix motor? I wasn't sure if they were the same, or slightly different

The reason I ask is because I noticed on my friends 95 it has two lines running from the heater core to the thermostat housing, and mine doesn't. I have a feeling that's why my Jeep has been hemorrhaging antifreeze from the single line I have running to the heater

Yeah that's what I saw.. one comes back to a small metal tube and that connects next to the hose running to the radiator

yes it will fit the only difference is the sensor hole most renix guys like myself use it to put a radiator petcock in to burp the closed system so you dont have to pull the sensor on the back of the head

Awesome thanks for the info. I'll probably just cap the hole since I already changed out the closed system. I appreciate it man
