Default Is there an alternative light I can put in factory fog light location?

Hello everybody.....

I have a 2001 Cherokee and I have a fog light out. Instead of replacing it with the OEM light I was wondering if anybody has any ideas on an alternative light to put there. I would like something brighter as the factory fog lights don't seem to help much. I know fog lights aren't made to be super bright but I'm considering replacing the fog lights with a bright off road light of some sort and only using them for that purpose.

Does anybody have any suggestions or has anybody replaced there fog lights with an alternative lighting option?

If I do go with just the fog light, is there something better than OEM I can put there, what do you recommend?

Thanks!

Hi, you have lots of choices. You can use "hella" or "KC" or any fog light you want. You can go to http://www.quadratec.com for ideas...Tj

Thanks for the replies........I'm looking for something that will bolt right in to where my OEM lights are now. I'll check out that website and see what I can find. If anybody has any part numbers for a Hella or KC that is a direct bolt in I'd appreciate your help.

Thanks Again...

just get some cheap fog lights with similar dimensions. Then get some 100 watt HID simulate bulbs and hook them up! good bulbs make or break a light. And you will not regret the HID simulate bulbs. Very bright and white!

If you're just using them offroad go get the cheapest HID kit you can find on ebay (as long as it has the right bulb size) and enjoy the brightness. If you smash them up, you'll only be down $40 or so.
