Hi all:

My XJ was stolen last week. Got it back. Seems it was ditched in the middle of a side road. Had to LOL as its been throwing a code 62 and stalling out from time to time. As it has about $30 more in gas then when it was stolen I dont think they planned on ditching it.

I had to take the top part off of the sterring column as the piece that actuates the starter switch had been bent. However when back together I get noting on the starter. The fuel pump and all dash guages seem to come up.

I noticed that the box for the wipers was hanging down so I assume the monkeys got up there for some reason. Possibly doing some rewiring or what I dont know.

Opposite the ignition key the housing was smashed and it seems they bend that piece out and pryed it back to start it.

Anyone ever have to fix something like this, that could lend some insight? Ideas???
