I'm currently going to school for automotive, well i brought a family members xj in to work on it. its a 2000 cherokee I6. the problem was that it would start and immediately die due to the factory theft deterrent. we used a drb 3 and reporgrammed the key and it worked. however the lights would flash and go off for a few minutes everytime you opened any door. so today i was at home working on the vehicle and disconnected the battery, now after reconnecting the battery when you turn the key the vehicle wont crank.
anyone have an idea as to whats causing these problems?
