2011 reset anti-theft w/o trip to dealer?
Hi there -
My battery died with this last cold snap in my 2011 Grand Cherokee and when AAA came buy they couldn't jump it and told me that the anti-theft system triggered. Besides the fact that my battery should have been ok.....I'm in a bit of shock as a call to the dealer informed me of an estimated $300-$400 service fee to fix/reset the anti-theft.
I realized things have advanced with some of the newer models, but is anyone aware of a way to reset with the old-school keyfob, on/off, hopping around on one leg reset process?
Thanks,
Doug
