i put an e fan from my old 87 onto my new 92 cuz it overheated on me while on the trail a couple times.. but now my temperature gauge wont budge when i drive it... how can i fix this... i called the previous owner and he told me the darn thing only works when it wants to, but i hadnt noticed..

 

92 still have the gauge sensor at the rear of the head, drivers side?. If so, pull the wire and ground it. If the gauge goes up it's the sensor.
