Which did you change?

There are 2.

Coolant Temperature SENDER
AND
Coolant Temperature SENSOR

SENSOR is right up front on thermostat housing. Has 2 wires in a weathertight connector. Works with ECU/PCM (computer)

SENDER is located near back of the head alongside the valve cover. Only has one wire and depending on the year, that wire only slips on or is in a weathertight connector. Works with temperature gauge.

The most common mistake is to change the wrong one.
If you changed the right one, just ignore me.
