I have an 87 Cherokee and it originally came with dummy lights. I've recently installed a full gauge cluster out of my friends 87 Limited and have gone through to hook everything up. I found that the old temp sending unit at the back of the block was pretty much broken in half, so I replaced it. The gauge still won't work. I've tried cleaning contacts checking the wires, etc... I still cant get it to work. Anyone have this problem before? Any ideas?

 

It could be that the gauge itself doesn't work.

 

x2 on faulty gauge if all else is new/good...
