Exclamation temp gauge (help)

i am trying to install a aftermarket temp gauge on my 94 cherokee sport.
i has a idiot light on dash. where can i screw the probe into?

I think yours only has one sending unit on it. Outside of drilling and tapping a new hole near the tstat housing, you might be out of luck. Why don't you get another gauge cluster and sending unit and use the stock stuff.

on the back of the engine block there is a fitting for the cluster light, unscrew it and replace with your aftermarket one.

it will be at the back of the valve cover on the drivers side.

I had the same idiot light and that is what I did as well.


4.3 xj all xj's have the fitting at the front (PCM Control) and the rear (Cluster light/gauge)
