Try replacing the heater control valve. As these vehicles gain a few miles and age the heater control valve came become partially blocked and begin to malfunction. This can cause a restriction in coolant flow and you will see the temps rise specially at idle when the flow rate is lower. This is a $20 part and very easy to replace. Just make sure all the hoses go back in the correct place and it should only take about 15-20 minutes to do.

I assume this only happens in traffic, you said you replaced the radiator, did you make sure the a/c cond is clear of any debris or anything that can restrict air flow?

i know you said the e fan is working fine but when did you check it? When the jeep was cool or after you have been driving around for 30 minutes?

No i did not clean the A/C Cond. But I think that really has nothing to do with this problem because if it was block it would creep up all year around. I only have this problem in the summer.

I am not sure where you live but it is very possible that this could happen in the summer only, you radiator is just a heat exchanger, and the colder the cooling medium the more efficient it is,you could have just a slight airflow restriction and cause what you are exsperiencing. The other thing to keep in mind is when you are running your a/c it will add to the problem also, due to the warm air from condensing refrigerant.

I did not see the water pump on the list of parts that have been replaced. Has that ever been done, if not how many miles on the vehicle.

i read on another post on this forum that if your bottom radiator hose doesnt have a spring to keep it from collapsing, it will restrict waterflow and cause you to overheat. its worth a look. just squeeze the bottom hose and see if you can feel it.

i didn't see radiator hoses in your list of replaced parts. maybe try replacing them all. also try flushing your engine block with some radiator flush. there could be some blockage in there that needs some help being cleared.

I have not been on here for along time but I have been on here long enough to know that there is more than enough knowledge to fix your jeep,if we were standing over your jeep, many here could fix it,there are actual ase master mechanics trying to help you and the best part up to this point it was for free, but from your second post you have had an attitude for some reason,so i wish you the best of luck,i am sure there is a good mechanic out there that wants your money.
