wife and i are replacing the radiator and heatercore, along with the resevoir, and replacing the elec. fan...

im curious about the hoses and lines: are the upper/lower radiator; tran. cooler and over flow all i need to replace for the radiator? no others the book neglected? what about the heater core: just need the heater hose and evap tube right? nothing else?

its my dd, so i hate tearing things apart and finding i need something that takes 3 days to get here.

Sounds good. You really don't even have to change those out unless you're one of those folks that are **** about swapping out parts when there's nothing wrong with them, assuming they aren't leaking.

yeah, im not trying to replace for the fun of it, however the lower trannie cooler line leaks a singnificant amount of fluid, right next to the radiator... oh look'et that! a splice in the line... two rubber hoses with two hose clamps on either side of a 3" hard tube?!??!? so i get ta looking to replace them ( the hoses are from nintyone stock, and the jeep has been neglected while it was in the possession of exended family members from before i married into the family) and it looks like the "straighter" section of the cooler lines to the trannie are twice as long as the "straighter" section of the images i find on say jcwhitey. i look low. i looke high. i read the teeny tiny words o the bottom of the web pages, and still i dont see anything mentioning a variance in length. now, do i assume they are the same or will i hafta smack my head again while holding a wrong-part?

(btw: i convinced my wife that the cooler lines are all that need replacing)
