wondering if anyone knows around how much cfm the stock clutch fan (with a good clutch) pulls and how much the electric fan pulls. im thinking about replacing the mechanical fan with a second electric one that runs when i turn the ignition on, and keep the aux fan and wiring it to a switch for trail riding and such. has anyone on here done something like this? what size fan did you use to have enough room to keep the aux fan as well. thanks

 

Pick up a 2 speed Ford Taurus fan from the junkyard. On low speed it pulls more air than either the stock mechanical or electric fans. On high speed it will suck birds through the grill on the interstate. Or go with the option the Fantic238 has suggeted, get a Audi A4 dual electric fan set up and you can suck this asphalt through the grill.
