Default TCM Code?

Hey guys,

Recently, I changed my oil in my 98 Cherokee, and soon after a more recent drive from SC, my check engine light came on. Took it to AutoZone today, and the dx test brought up code P1698: CCD/Tranny Control Module. Checked all that I could find electrical-wise coming from the transmission, but light still hasn't ceased. Plugged in securely at the computer near the gas pedal.

What's up?

No corrosion found on any of the fuses, and no shorts that I could find anywhere. I am having no issues at all with the Jeep. I have read about people saying that they have shifting problems, speedos not working, etc. when the TCM code pops up, but I am having no problems. The check engine light is just on. Any other ideas?
