tc solenoid
Well I have a 90 xj with an aw4 and I've been having an issue with the torque converter slipping in and out of lockup which causes a pretty decent vibration. So I disconnected the switch at the pedal and since then not an issue since then not an issue, cruises great when in overdrive since it doesn't lock up. So I ohm tested the solenoid at 19 ohms. Soo I need a second opinion, is this enough out of range to determined the solenoid is at fault? Thanks for any info

Yeah i was wondering about the the switch, I noticed its adjustable. I ruled out the module. I had extra in my spare parts that I switched to see and nothing changed. I thought it could be the torque convertor itself. Fluid is still nice and pink.

A bad TC is a definite possibility, all other gears work good? No slipping or harshness? Goes into gear immediately when you put it there?

Not any other problems with her, the trans shifts beautiful, goes in every gear without an issue, just didnt want to make up its mine when it came time to lock up the convertor and would cause that shudder.
