Default TB Spacer?

I have a chance of getting a free TB spacer or a set of lights. My question is, Is a TB Spacer really worth the money, meaning will it give a noticable change of MPG and HP. I rather have the lights but if it is a real notible change in HP or MPG I'll take the lights.

TB spacer is no good for the 4.0. It helps my 2.5 cuz the bore diameter of the throttle body is smaller than the 4.0, so it helps release the bottleneck effects as the air enters the intake manifold. That's why 4-bangers commonly swap to a 4.0 throttle body, which I'll be doing in the near future.

Lights alien are going to help you not hit those cows at night. The TB spacer will whistle and just annoy you while not changing your performance or MPG.

I didn't notice a single difference with the TB spacer on my tj 2.5. I took it off a week later, sold it to another 2.5 tj owner who wanted it despite no gains on mine. Do you have an aftermarket exhaust?

So alien you get that head fixed yet? Why worry about a TB spacer when you can't even keep coolant in it?

I hit one of my dogs the other nite while coming home from fishing he was in the field bedding down and i was in granny gear crewsing and I heard him yulp. Took him to the vet and found out he is deaf, so that is why he didn't hear the big turbo diseal. Didn't hurt him bad, doc gave him drugs and he is pened up.

Just proves that lights may be a better investment than a TB spacer. Dog might have seen those lights on your roof. Hope he recovers from your fishing trip encounter.
