Wired up some rear LED aux lights and my switch is of the On-Off-On type. Currently the up position is always on and the bottom is reserved for on when reverse.
Where is the easiest place to splice into reverse wire feed for the lights?

I spliced my license plate relocation light from the OEM taillight wire for the driving lights. You could also splice into the reverse light from there. There's even a little gap on the bottom of the taillight for the wire to come through without cutting or drilling.

You must use a relay in the line also. When I wired mine I found it to be easier to just use the switch for reverse on the trail as they are illegal in town and on roads, to high and bright for mine anyway, and I use them as a work light also.
He didn't really mention what he had or LEDs, and while I am a big promoter of relays, with some LEDs it's really not necessary. My A pillar lights draw less than an amp each (.87a I believe), and if I didn't already have my switch panel to run off relays I wouldn't have used one for that specific circuit.

Would there be an issue with running 2 small LED pods (mini's) mounted into the rear bumper for extra reverse lighting?
Didn't want to make a spare thread if this one's OK.
I was thinking of adding two new 4 or 6 led pods into the rear bumper and splicing them into the stock reverse wiring. (could even mount at downward angle)
Thoughts? Would this be too much for the wiring? AND.... would it make a difference if I put in LED reverse bulbs in the stock housings?

I think I'll give that a try 1st then. The girl drives it daily for school and works at night. She's complained about it not being very bright when she backs up. She was used to the standard cab 3/4 tong GMC or one of our Outlanders with a back up cam and decent lightning AND visibility.

I have these 2 fog light LED's that don't fit into my fog light casing because they are too long. Could I fit them in the reverse light socket and wire it up so they can actually work? I can't buy anything right now because my money has to go towards registration renewal so I want to try to work with what I already have. Plus they are super bright
