I tried searching on here and google but apparently it's such an easy thing people don't need explanation but I do :x. If I see it done once I'll be able to do it. Just seems like a pain in the *** to unbolt it from the tranny

I'm thinking I may need to invest in a ratcheting 9/16 wrench. I dropped the tranny t case down and found it easier to get to the nuts

-Support the tranny with a jack.
-Remove tranny mount bolts(1/2",13mm)
-Remove crossmember.(15mm)
-Unbolt Tranny mount plate(16mm, 5/8")
-Unbolt driveshafts(8mm , 5/16")
-Unplug tcase breather hose, speedo sensor, and 4wd switch
-Pop off shift linkage at the lever on the tcase
-lower tranny/tcase sone with the jack
-Unbolt the 6 nuts that hold the tcase to the tranny(9/16 or 14mm)
Reverse to re-install
