tailights stay on when everything is off! please help! battery keeps dying!
Hello there, my brake lights stay on when my jeep is off. I replaced the headlight switch and I noticed when I hit the brakepedal they go off. Thanks!

Hello there, my brake lights stay on when my jeep is off. I replaced the headlight switch and I noticed when I hit the brakepedal they go off. Thanks!
Check your headlight switch wiring.. if stepping on the brake shuts off your headlights, something is mis-wired.
As for the brake lights staying on: if you're sure it's the brake lights, and not the running lights (which could be due to headlight switch wiring error) then check your brake light switch (located on the brake pedal lever) it might be out of adjustment or shorted.
