So anyway, the interior of the '92 is in pieces trying to find out why the tail/brake lights don't work when the lights are on. The problem is as follows:
Brake lights work when lights are off, but they are dim.
Brake & Tail lights do not work when lights are on.
Turn & markers are fine.
Headlight switch wasn't the problem.
Grounds are good.
I've been going nuts trying to trace the harness to no avail.
Anyone with similar/same prob?
If so, what was the problem?

theres a thing on the brake pedal to sense when you hit the brake theres two wires going to it on the top of your brake and once the pedal is depressed it completes the circuit and puts the brake light on.. check to see if that got disconnected
