Default Tach wire question

I'm installing a remote start and will start a thread on it when it's finished, but I'd like to know if anyone knows what color the tach wire is that runs to the dash? I've searched and only found the wire at the coil and PCM. My thought is that the stock tach is electronic and thus will have an electronic tach signal being sent to it. Which means it would be in the ignition/column harness. Right?

To minimize the wires going through the firewall.
